Robot Mars from War Robots Game
One of the robots that players can use in the game is Mars, a robot that has a detachable turret and a durable Aegis shield that belongs to the DSC faction.

Ability of Mars
Mars’s ability is called Remote Assault. When activated, Mars deploys an autonomous rocket launcher that can be thrown at different distances depending on how long the ability button is pressed. The turret will automatically fire at the nearest enemy with a higher rate of fire than when it is attached to Mars. The turret will remain on the ground until it is destroyed or until Mars uses its ability again to recall it.

While the turret is deployed, Mars gets a 30% speed boost and can use its three medium hardpoints to fire at other enemies. Mars also has a passive ability called Aegis shield, which protects it from any type of damage except for some special abilities like Mercury’s Helldive, Hellburner’s Overload, Kid’s Stove, and Arthur’s Blast Wave.

The Remote Assault and Aegis shield abilities make Mars a very versatile and powerful robot that can control a large area and suppress the enemy from afar. The abilities also allow Mars to adapt to different situations and enemies.

Strategy of Mars
Mars is a medium robot with three medium hardpoints and one heavy hardpoint that is occupied by its turret. This means that it can equip a variety of weapons to suit different ranges and playstyles. Some of the popular weapon combinations for Mars are:

Scourge and Calamity: These are energy weapons that deal more damage as they lock onto the target. They are effective at medium range and can bypass energy shields.
Igniter and Ember: These are flamethrowers that deal continuous damage and have a chance to ignite the enemy. They are effective at close-mid range and can bypass physical shields.
Pulsar and Dragoon: These are energy weapons that deal moderate damage and have a long range. They are effective at long range and can bypass energy shields.
The best way to use Mars is to time its ability wisely and take advantage of its turret and shield. Mars should avoid exposing itself to enemy fire when its shield is depleted or when its turret is on cooldown, as it has low durability and no other defensive mechanisms. Mars should also avoid engaging multiple enemies at once, as its turret can only target one enemy at a time.

A good strategy for Mars is to deploy its turret near an important position or beacon, such as behind cover or on high ground. Mars can then use its speed boost to move around and fire at other enemies with its medium weapons, while also being protected by its shield. Mars can also use its ability defensively, to recall its turret and retreat from danger or to reposition it for a better angle.

Mars Threat Measure
Mars is one of the most feared robots in War Robots, as it can deal devastating damage and survive for a long time with its turret and shield. However, Mars is not invincible, and it has some weaknesses that can be exploited by smart enemies.

Some of the ways to counter Mars are:

Use stealth or jump abilities to avoid its turret and attack it from behind or above.
Use weapons or abilities that can bypass or break its shield, such as rockets, flamethrowers, Titans’ weapons, or Arthur’s Blast Wave.
Use weapons or abilities that can disable or reduce its firepower or mobility, such as EMP, suppression, lockdown, or corrosion.
Use teamwork and coordination to focus fire on Mars when its shield is depleted or when it is outnumbered.

Counterplay Mars
Mars is a very powerful robot that can pose a serious threat to any enemy team. However, there are some robots that can counter Mars effectively, either by using their own abilities or by using their weapons.
  • Scorpion can teleport behind Mars and freeze it with its rockets, preventing it from using its ability or escaping.
  • Hawk can fly above Mars and damage it with its beam, bypassing its shield and turret.
  • Shell can charge at Mars and detonate its explosive shield, breaking its physical shield and freezing it.
  • Typhon can disable Mars’s ability and weapons with its Blackout, and suppress it with its machine guns.
  • Orochi can stealthily approach Mars and ignite it with its flamethrowers, bypassing its shield and turret.
