Lynx - War Robots

Robot Lynx from War Robots Game
Lynx is a robot that can sneak up on an opponent unnoticed and instantly destroy an already damaged enemy with its unique built-in weapon and forcefield that belongs to the Yan-di Corporation faction.

Ability of Lynx
Lynx’s ability is called Ferocity. When activated, Lynx gains movement speed and goes into stealth mode. An additional weapon is activated that can instantly destroy an enemy with a low level of durability. The built-in weapon is an energy weapon that deals massive damage and applies the Execution effect to the robot that it hits. The Execution effect instantly destroys the enemy if its durability is below a certain threshold (10%, 15% or 20% depending on MK1, MK2 and MK3 level).

Ferocity lasts for 5 seconds and then enters a 10 second cooldown phase.

Lynx also has a passive ability called Lynx Forcefield. The robot has a defense that partially blocks the damage taken, with the level of protection decreasing as the damage is received. The forcefield recharges after Lynx takes no damage for a certain amount of time.

The Ferocity and Lynx Forcefield abilities make Lynx a very stealthy and lethal robot that can sneak up on an opponent unnoticed and instantly destroy an already damaged enemy. The abilities also allow Lynx to survive longer and deal more damage.

Strategy of Lynx
Lynx is a medium robot with two heavy hardpoints. This means that it can equip a variety of weapons to suit different ranges and playstyles. Some of the popular weapon combinations for Lynx are:

Ember and Igniter: These are flamethrowers that deal continuous damage and have a chance to ignite the enemy. They are effective at close-mid range and can bypass physical shields.
Calamity and Scourge: These are energy weapons that deal more damage as they lock onto the target. They are effective at mid-long range and can bypass energy shields.
Exodus and Thermite: These are rocket launchers that deal high burst damage and have a chance to ignite the enemy. They are effective at close-mid range and can break physical shields.
The best way to use Lynx is to time its ability wisely and take advantage of its stealth and execution. Lynx should avoid exposing itself to enemy fire when its ability is on cooldown or when its forcefield is depleted, as it has low durability and no other defensive mechanisms. Lynx should also avoid engaging multiple enemies at once, as its built-in weapon can only target one enemy at a time.

A good strategy for Lynx is to sneak up on an opponent unnoticed and activate its ability when the enemy’s durability is below the execution threshold. Lynx can then fire its heavy weapons to deal more damage and finish off the enemy. Lynx can also use its ability defensively, to escape from danger or to surprise attack an enemy.

Lynx Threat Measure
Lynx is one of the most stealthy and lethal robots in War Robots, as it can sneak up on an opponent unnoticed and instantly destroy an already damaged enemy with its built-in weapon and forcefield. However, Lynx is not invincible, and it has some weaknesses that can be exploited by smart enemies.

Some of the ways to counter Lynx are:

Use stealth detection or quantum radar modules to reveal its location and target it.
Use weapons or abilities that can bypass or break its forcefield, such as rockets, flamethrowers, Titans’ weapons, or Arthur’s Blast Wave.
Use weapons or abilities that can disable or reduce its firepower or mobility, such as EMP, suppression, lockdown, or corrosion.
Use teamwork and coordination to focus fire on Lynx when its ability is on cooldown or when it is outnumbered.

Counterplay Lynx
Lynx is a very stealthy and lethal robot that can pose a serious threat to any enemy team. However, there are some robots that can counter Lynx effectively, either by using their own abilities or by using their weapons. The table below shows some of the robots that can counter Lynx in different ways.
  • Scorpion can teleport behind Lynx and freeze it with its rockets, preventing it from using its ability or escaping.
  • Hawk can fly above Lynx and damage it with its beam, bypassing its forcefield and stealth.
  • Shell can charge at Lynx and detonate its explosive shield, breaking its forcefield and freezing it.
  • Typhon can disable Lynx’s ability and weapons with its Blackout, and suppress it with its machine guns.
  • Orochi can stealthily approach Lynx and ignite it with its flamethrowers, bypassing its forcefield and stealth.
